Having moved into private healthcare in 1995 she established Physio Works in 2000 with gym and rehabilitation facilities including Clinical Pilates.

Before training as a Chartered Physiotherapist Sarah trained in classical ballet to RAD Advanced level so fully understands the demands placed on the body by high level dance and athletic training. She uses this experience to enhance each individuals rehabilitation towards their desired level of physical ability.

Sarah is familiar with dealing with the most stubborn injuries and painful conditions, including those which have been going on for years. The aim of treatment is to relieve pain and restore physical ability to the optimum that is realistically available.

Years of working with the physical body lead Sarah to a fascination in the involvement of the mind in pain and disability and how we may utilise this to assist treatment, enhance rehabilitation and stimulate recovery. Subsequently achieving the Medical Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy has enabled her to realise the scope and power of the mind in all areas of wellbeing and to use this to the benefit of patients.
